SJRA… is one of the best facilities to attend if you’re in need of any type of radiology scans. The staff & technicians were all wonderful, everyone treated you with care, dignity, & respect. Also they move very fast. I never had to wait like most places you’re just sitting for long periods of time waiting to be seen. Nope not at SJRA. Once you’re signed in you’ll be called right to the back to start your procedure. This place was unbelievable for the services they give. The facility was clean, quiet, & most of all everyone was doing their job. Nobody was lobbying around gossiping while you’re waiting to be seen it wasn’t that at all. It was straight up business from the time you walked in. & as a patient that’s what you want, to get in & out. So I highly recommend SJRA to anyone…
This particular facility is my favorite for its staff and clean, welcoming space, BUT I wanted to write a review for SJR in general: I want to thank them for recently helping me rectify a complex situation that possibly could have harmed me, if it not had been for the kindness, patience, and persistence of the receptionist staff and their supervisor. Maria, in particular, went out of her way to follow up on a problem from the night before and contact me the next day. Her supervisor was also instrumental in making sure my imaging appointment changes were finalized. This was a time sensitive matter, and they really pulled through. It is people like them that are the silver lining in difficult situations!
I went here today for my first time experiencing a CTA heart with calium something. Well I never had this kind of test before so it was normal thatt I was scared. I had an Iv for the test.. But the test itself only took 10 mins. The nurses the test employees and ladies whom were assisting were all very nice.. We're very sure to explain what they were doing during the test and how my body might react. They always asked me if I had ?s and really generally cared deeply about their patients. They did an outstanding job and deserve an award for it. Even the ladies at the front desks were angels. So may God bless you all and keep up the great work you do. $2,500 for an MRI is insane. Sjra is part of the problem with the American healthcare industry. Their pricing is based on assumed reimbursement rates from insurance companies. My stupid expensive insurance plan supposedly covers 50% of the cost and SJRA thinks they can fleece me for the rest of it.
In civil countries, like Japan, an MRI costs $100. There’s a literal book of prices for medical procedures and if you try to charge more, straight to jail

I been going to SJRA for forty years or more and had a problem today for the first time. I would like to say thank you to Sue who called me back and straightened everything out for my elderly father and myself. Thank you Sue for having excellent customer service SJRA need more employees like you.
I have been on hold for 40 minutes. It's a Thursday at 3:15!!!! Two days ago I was on hold for 22 minutes and the system disconnected me. I'm trying to make an appointment for a Dexascan. When you call me back, I may put you on hold for 40 minutes. What a waste of my time. I actually went outside and hung a basket of wet laundry out on the clothesline while I waited. FIX YOUR UNSATISFACTORY PHONE SYSTEM!!!!!!
Took off 1 star for cold rooms and huge paper gowns.
The experience with every staff member I encountered was seamless. All were friendly, courteous, professional and helpful.
However, the exam procedure rooms and waiting/dressing areas were extremely cold and I was quite uncomfortable as a result. The CT room I was in was Freezing with a vent that was blowing cold air directly down on me and my oversized paper gown as I was laying on the table.
I was offered a blanket (appreciated, thank you) but it too was cold and quite thin.
Recommendations: cloth gowns and heated blankets for patient comfort.
...Also, requested access to Patient Portal for test results which I have not yet received.
Had a mix up with the mammogram script. Teresita at the front desk was extremely kind and professional. She made calls, gave me instructions and offered alternative times - same day. very impressive competent lady.
